Anita Briem hails from Iceland. Anita Briesm, an Icelandic actor is known for her portrayal of Jane Seymour (the young woman who would later become the wife of Henry VIII) in the television show The Tudors. Also for the character of Hannah in the film Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem was just 9 years old when she began acting at the Icelandic National Theater. In her native Iceland she worked on TV, radio and different programs while a young actress.
